LCDR Robert Clukey, III was killed when the F/A 18 he was flying crashed off the coast of Italy during a training flight in November 2002.  He was a 1991 graduate of the United States Naval Academy.  LCDR Clukey, III was honored through the Travis Manion Foundation’s Character Does Matter program presented during the USNA’s Summer Seminar and USNA STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Camp for rising 11th graders.
