Mentorship and Advocacy

Our Veteran Services program provides grants to empower veterans and survivors to take the next step in their journeys and achieve their personal and professional goals. The Travis Manion Foundation provides life coaching, transition assistance and grief support. The Mentorship & Advocacy Program for Veterans (MAP-V) is the Foundation’s platform for assisting post-9/11 veterans in their transition from military to civilian life. MAP-V is a 5-month long, funded internship program designed to provide veterans with work experience, camaraderie, networking, and professional development opportunities to help the veterans be successful in achieving their post-military goals. The MAP-V program utilizes a holistic approach to transition assistance instead of simply offering career services. What makes the program unique is that it also focuses on empowering the veterans to be of strong mind, body and spirit in their new stage of life.
