Ken Clark serves as Chairman of Ken Clark Partners LLC from the firm’s corporate office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He founded Ken Clark International Inc. in 1996 and Ken Clark Partners LLC in 2012.
Ken is responsible for business development and recruiting for clients of KCP globally. During his 25-year career in executive search, Ken has made placements in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East & Africa for multinational corporations as well as startups and fast-growth companies. He has recruited and placed top talent in a broad range of strategic positions including: board member; chairman; CEO; chief operating officer; corporate, group, division or region president; and functional vice president. His work includes country and regional manager positions in emerging markets and technical leadership positions requiring PhD or MD credentials.
Ken’s expertise includes: Pharmaceuticals (Rx, OTC & generics); Biologics (medicines & vaccines); Diagnostic Products; Medical Products (equipment, devices & supplies); Laboratory and Scientific Products; and Healthcare and Medical Services. He also has an extensive track record in Animal Health and Plant Science.
Ken also runs KCP’s Global Human Resources Practice. He places key individuals at corporate levels in North America and Europe as well as regional and country levels in Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East & Africa.
Ken entered executive search in 1986. Between 1986 and 1996, he led Paul Ray, Carré Orban and Korn/Ferry’s global healthcare and consumer practices as well as ran the Princeton and Philadelphia offices of Korn/Ferry. Ken was a member of the board of directors of Paul Ray/Carré Orban, Europe’s second largest executive search firm at the time.
Ken is a graduate of General Electric’s Human Resources Management Program and held assignments at GE Aerospace and Defense, GE Power Generation and GE Medical. For 10 years as the head of corporate human resources at Cordis Corporation, Ken led the company’s human resources growth and development at a time when revenues soared from $20 million to $750 million for the then NASDAQ-listed corporation.
Ken has a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami. Ken lives in the suburban Philadelphia area. Since 2002, he has also maintained a residence in Europe. In addition to being an energizing leader who is passionate about his business, employees and clients, Ken is an avid golfer and saltwater sport fisherman.
