Knox Nunnally joined the trial section of McGuireWoods LLP in 2014 after spending five years practicing law at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to commencing his legal career, Knox graduated with a BS in Political Science from the Naval Academy in 2001 and served as an infantry officer and light armored reconnaissance officer for the United States Marine Corps with the Second Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion (“2D LAR”). Before departing the Marines in 2006 he completed three combat deployments to Iraq with 2D LAR in 2003, 2004, and 2005 and was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat V and a Purple Heart. Upon leaving the Marines, Knox earned his law degree at the University of Texas School of Law. He currently resides in Houston, TX with his wife, Cara, and their two dogs Sherman and Lexington.
