Tom served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years, both in the enlisted and commissioned officer ranks. During his time in the Air Force he deployed twice, to Italy in 1999 in support of the conflict in the Balkans and to Kyrgyzstan in 2006 in support of the conflict in Afghanistan. He joined L3 in 2015 to lead strategy and business development for their ComCept Division and currently leads strategic operations for the C3 and Special Programs business area in the Mission Integration Division. Prior to L3 he served in several leadership positions in other aerospace and defense companies, Northrop Grumman, Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation, and Eaton, and earned an MBA from Nichols College and a bachelor degree from Wesley College. Besides being on the board of directors at the Travis Manion Foundation, Tom is also an ambassador for the Character Does Matter Program and the chairman of our National Capital Region Golf Tournament held each fall.
