Top Character Strengths
HONESTY - SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE - LEADERSHIP
What character strength do you value the most and why?
I value honesty the most. Honesty is fundamental to building trust and trust is central to all fulfilling relationships. Additionally, I view honesty as a form of respect. When we are honest with others, we are respecting their capacity to deal with the reality of a situation and trusting their ability to respond appropriately.
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
I enjoy the ability to bring joy, hope, and purpose to someone who is seeking it. Whether it is a veteran, survivor, or inspired civilian, we are all seeking a place to be welcomed, appreciated, respected, and purposeful. Those who are seeking opportunities to serve others are my kind of people and I love the ability to devote myself to them and their goals. Seeing their passions come to fruition motivates me personally and professionally.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
The value I place on honesty ensures that I am always putting my best foot forward and that I am wholly committed to those I am working with. Social Intelligence enables me to connect with others and meet them where they are, so that I can best serve them and guide them in the execution of their efforts. Leadership provides me the confidence to leverage my skills, the skills of my team, and our resources to accomplish our goals.
