Join Travis Manion Foundation and local volunteers during Operation Homefront's annual nationwide school supply collection and distribution campaign. Service members’ eligible dependents can receive free back to school supplies, including backpacks, through this assistance program. This program helps to relieve the families of the cost of sending their children back to school.
Volunteers will meet in the hotel ballroom space (take the hallway on the right after you enter through the lobby). Free parking is available in the hotel guest parking lot.
Tasks may include unloading U-Hauls, setting up assembly lines, filling backpacks, staging in-kind donations and Dollar Tree donations, and decorating the venue space for the official event the following day.
Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in and closed-toe shoes. Food and drinks will be provided.
