A youth participating in the CORE Residential Treatment Program is graduating and will be heading to college!  The student has been involved with our Character Does Matter Program and has taken on the character traits taught in the program. This student is proud to tell everyone that his essay for financial aid ended with the quote, ”If Not Me, Then Who..."

The project will honor the life and legacy of Doug Hundemer, US Army Veteran and Juvenile Probation Officer for Williamson County Juvenile Services for more than 16-years. In his role, Doug was coordinating with 12 county school districts and youth and families to ensure the best transition between Williamson County Juvenile Services and local ISDs. Doug was the department's face with his additional role, spending Saturday mornings educating families about available services & programs.
