Join Travis Manion Foundation's Cleveland Chapter and Honey from the Rock for an educational Back to School donation drive.

Honey from the Rock - Cleveland Foster Care Closet is an organization dedicated to supporting children in foster care, those recently reunified with their families, or recently adopted.

We’re honored to welcome guest speaker retired Colonel Ed Horvath, MD, who will share stories from his three military deployments and what it means to live a life of service. 

Dr. Horvath embodies the “If Not Me, Then Who…” ethos. At 59 years old, he enlisted in the Army as a physician, driven by a deep calling to serve—to help “the neighbor’s kid,” no matter who or where they were. His experiences span cultural clashes, insurgent attacks, and caring for children caught in the tragedies of war. 

We invite all attendees to bring new school supplies to support their Back to School Program. 

Suggested donation items include:

• Notebooks

• Pens and pencils

• Binders

• Other basic school supplies

Given the nature of the discussion, we suggest that participants be at least 15 years old.

This project will honor the life and legacy of 1st LT Ashley White, USA.
