Veterans in Service: Food Pantry Shelving Project

Serve shoulder-to-shoulder with volunteers from The Mission Continues, which was recently acquired by Travis Manion Foundation. Veterans in Service projects like this one are made possible by support from Navy Federal Credit Union.

Join us for the Veterans in Service: Food Pantry Shelving Project at Valley Ministries MCC in Stockton, CA. This project is part of The Mission Continues National Day of Service Campaign for Veterans in Service in November, empowering Veterans to continue serving their communities through meaningful and impactful service projects. Volunteers will build and install sturdy storage shelving to enhance the food pantry’s organization and efficiency, ensuring that community members, including veterans, families, and unhoused individuals, have access to food in a safe, well-organized, and accessible space. This project provides an opportunity to honor veterans’ service, support local families and unhoused community members in need, and strengthen community cohesion.
