Veterans Day of Service: Community Project with The Mission Continues – Atlanta

Join The Mission Continues – Atlanta Platoon as we honor the courage, sacrifice, and continued impact of our nation's veterans through a meaningful day of service and community connection. This Veterans Day, we’re rallying veterans, volunteers, and neighbors to transform a local space and build something lasting together.

This year’s project will take place at Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary School and will include:
Painting and Beautification — Refreshing shared spaces to foster pride and inspiration
Finish Building an Outdoor Classroom — Creating a space that promotes experiential learning and connection to nature
Designing a Community Mural — A bold, visual tribute to the legacy of service and the strength of our community

Through collective action, we celebrate the spirit of Veterans Day—not only by recognizing service, but by continuing it. This is an opportunity to empower veterans, uplift local families, and invest in the next generation.
