SO1 (SEAL) Christopher G. Campbell was one of thirty service members who died in a CH-47 Chinook helicopter crash in Wardak province, Afghanistan, on Aug. 6, 2011. He enlisted in November 1996, and earned numerous decorations, including the Bronze Star With Valor. He is survived by his wife, Angelina, his daughter, Samantha, his parents Larry and Diane, his brother, Le, and his sister, Cindy.
