Travis Manion Foundation will be traveling to Bozeman, MT for a 5-day expedition, Aug 5 - 9, 2024.
There is no cost to attend this incredible opportunity, but we do ask that all applicants be 15-18 years of age and at least 24 months out from their loss. Prior engagement with TMF is not required to apply, but future engagement is encouraged!
To be considered for the Service Expedition to Montana, please submit your application from May 13 - 31, 2024.
MONTANA EXPEDITION OVERVIEW:
Throughout the 5-day Expedition, the emphasis will be healing through connection, empowerment, and helping others in need. Teens will serve the local community while honoring the legacy of their fallen heroes. Accompanied by Veteran and Survivor Mentors, teens will develop character and leadership skills through TMF's Character Does Matter curriculum. The community service components and team-building experiences will take place in the sun and will require working outdoors for several hours.
Participants must be available to attend two virtual Zoom sessions as a group. On the pre-expedition zoom, participants and TMF staff can begin building relationships and prepare for the Expedition. There will also be a post-expedition zoom where participants will explore ways to stay involved with TMF.
