TMF’s Character Does Matter Program, presented by Johnson & Johnson, engages veterans and families of fallen heroes to inspire young adults to live with character, develop their leadership skills, and activate them to serve their communities in honor of fallen heroes. The Character Does Matter Program includes:

Veterans and families of fallen heroes share stories of people who exemplify great character and leadership, and challenge the young adults they speak with to live the “If Not Me, Then Who…” ethos. TMF trains our Ambassadors to give these one-hour presentations to students in a variety of settings and provides all the necessary materials free of charge.

Veterans and families of fallen heroes develop character and leadership in young adults through day-long and multi-day team-building exercises, discussions, and experiential learning challenges. TMF Programs are delivered at no cost to the student, veteran or school, and at the beginning of the program, students commit to participating in a service project in honor of fallen heroes.
