Jeffrey Paton Blish was a PO2 boat captain on the Mark V in SWCC special forces in the Navy. Jeffrey was extremely patient and kind. He loved to play his guitar and ride his motorcycle. He was a quiet man who loved to read and watch cartoons with me and my two siblings. He loved working on cars and playing video games and going to church. He was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer in June 2006 and passed away six short months after that. Chloe Blish, Jeff’s daughter said, “He was and will always be my best friend and greatest hero.” – submitted by family

Jeffrey Blish was honored by his daughter Chloe on the 2015 Teen Expedition and by his wife Michelle on the 2016 New Mexico Expedition.
