What character strength do you value the most and why?
The character strength I value most is love. It is my intention every day to move forward in all endeavors and relationships through love. It is important to me to feel loved by others and to give love to others. I feel that my life has purpose and meaning when it is wrapped in love.
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
My top three strengths support our work at TMF because part of the mission is to build community and empower others. Building relationships through love and kindness builds trust and allows for vulnerability. When people feel safe, genuine connections can be made and together others can be empowered to accomplish anything. Additionally, I feel that a love of learning goes hand in hand with humility. It is my hope that with my openness and desire to learn that I can grow to support my colleagues and our Spartans and the great work they do through TMF.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
My favorite part of working with all of our Spartans is being able to be a part of the Spartan family, getting to hear everyone’s stories, and playing a role in bringing our veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians together. It is also an honor to work side by side with so many individuals who are committed to serving their communities and our youth. Our work together gives me hope.

Skills and Expertise
I didn’t start out this way, but after years of work at it, I would say patience is one of my greatest skills. I am also highly driven, motivated to push myself and my team, and physically organized. I am also skilled at interpersonal communication and helping to facilitate communication as well.
Passions and Interests
My greatest passion is spending time with family. They mean the world to me. I am also an avid reader. Nothing beats a warm night on the front porch with a beverage and a book! I also enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, beach days, hot yoga, traveling, and West African drumming. With love of learning as a top strength, I’m also always up for an adventure and trying new things.
