Each year, TMF unites athletes to run the Marine Corps Marathon, 50K, & 10K, honoring our fallen heroes and raising funds for TMF. As they complete this test of will, determination and dedication, they become a testament to building character in our communities.
During 1stLt Travis Manion’s final tour of Iraq, he asked his father to run the Marine Corps Marathon with him. After Travis made the ultimate sacrifice, his father ran the race in his honor. The tradition has continued each year since.
