HELP OUR YOUTH START THE SCHOOL YEAR WITH CONFIDENCE_
A DAY OF MENTORSHIP + SUPPLIES FOR YOUTH NATIONWIDE
For the second year, TMF will step up to fill an economic gap and provide a day of character development, group activities, and outreach to over 3,000 youth across the country as they prepare for a new school year. Throughout August, TMF Mentors in over 70 communities will hold Back to School Character Day events, where they will deliver curriculum from our Character Does Matter program powered by Under Armour and provide backpacks filled with school supplies. Our goal is to ensure middle- and high-school students nationwide start the school year with confidence.
Families with school-age children plan to spend $900 on back-to-school items.
Roughly ⅓ of parents say they expect to go into debt due to school supply purchases.
