  Date & Time:  Sunday, September 15^th, 2024

  • The race will start at 10:00 AM, with an opening ceremony beginning at 9:30 AM

  Location: The University of Michigan’s North Campus Diag “Gerstacker Grove” near the Lurie Bell Tower (1230 Murfin Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48109).

  Parking: Most lots on Michigan’s North Campus are free on Sundays. Those that are closest to the race's starting point are as follows:

  P1 – NC21 (Bob & Betty Beyster Building – 2260 Hayward Avenue)

  P2 – NC27 (Walgreen Drama Center – 1300 Murfin Avenue)

  P3 – NC60 (Lurie Engineering – 1221 Beal Avenue)

  P4 – NC 20 (GG Brown Building – 2300 Hayward Avenue)

  Packet Pickup: Race-day packet pickup will begin at 8:45 AM and conclude at 9:30 AM

  Opening Ceremony: Please join us at 9:30 AM for a moment of silence, a word from a UM Professor and Navy Veteran, and the playing of our National Anthem before the race.

  Ruckers: If you have signed up to ruck and want to compete for a medal, your ruck will be weighed before the event.

   

  

   

• GORUCK RUCKING DIVISION

  Travis Manion Foundation is proud to partner with GORUCK again in 2024, bringing rucking divisions to every 9/11 Heroes Run. Rucking is a sport grounded in Special Forces Training in which participants carry weighted rucksacks. All participants registered for the GORUCK division will receive this year's exclusive TMF GORUCK patch. Please read the rules and requirements carefully as they have changed since last year.
