KINDNESS

Robert was a great dad, friend, and husband. He was a Baltimore County Phys Ed teacher for 17 years. In the Maryland National Guard for 28 years. He became a federal Technician because he wanted to serve in the Army on a daily bases. He served there for 10 years. It was there that he was selected to deploy. He was married to his wife for 25 years and together they have three sons and a daughter. He was deployed to Afghanistan on Sept. 11, 2011, with NATO forces to help train the Afghan Police Dept.  On Feb. 25, 2012, a fellow Afghan police officer came to work and murdered him with Lt. Col Loftis in their office as they worked. Robert loved to help people. He loved to serve. He loved his family and God with all his heart and he made sure everyone knew it.
