In its third year, the Spartan Leadership Summit will bring together TMF staff and leaders in the Spartan community for an immersive two-day experience in the rustic Georgia countryside.

This year’s summit will be unlike any other. Hosted at the Calvin Center—a camp-style retreat 20 miles south of Atlanta—Spartans can expect to step away from their everyday rhythm into a serene environment where we can connect, learn, and share.

Open exclusively to top leaders in the Spartan community, this year’s summit will focus on uniting our communities. Against a backdrop of the rustic Georgia countryside, we invite you to build camaraderie with those who share your passion for serving, while gaining tools and strategies to bring back to your community to continue supporting TMF’s mission and growing local engagement.

TRAVEL & COST

Join us in Hampton, Georgia, from Wednesday, April 3 to Friday, April 5. All attendees should plan to arrive no later than 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3 and depart no earlier than noon on Friday, April 5.

SLS is free to attend. TMF provides transportation from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to the Calvin Center, and all lodging and meals will be included.

New this year: TMF is now offering travel grants for any individuals who apply during the registration process. Grants will cover your travel to and from ATL. Just opt-in on the registration page, and a member of our committee will get in touch with you.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The Calvin Center, a rustic retreat 20 miles south of Atlanta, will be our lodging, meeting, and social space.

The Calvin Center is a shared sleeping space environment (i.e. bunk beds). Please let us know in the registration page if you have any sleep concerns or special accommodation restrictions.

The Calvin Center is a year-round conference and meeting center that operates faith-based summer camps and activities for youth. While the campus does have religious associations, the 2019 Spartan Leadership Summit is a secular event. The dress code is casual athleisure; plan for layering, as nights will be cooler.
