FORT CAMPBELL, KY - OPERATION LEGACY RETURNED

Join Travis Manion Foundation and the Clarksville Chapter in honoring the lives and legacies of our nation’s fallen heroes through a meaningful and heartfelt service project.

As Fort Campbell concludes its final year of the Memorial Boot Display, an event that has long stood as a tribute to service and sacrifice, volunteers will help ensure that the legacy continues in the hands of those who carry it forward: the families of the Fallen.

Many of the boots displayed belong to Gold Star families, and this project will focus on collecting requests, respectfully retrieving each requested boot from the display, carefully packing them, and preparing them for shipment. These boots will be returned to the families as a symbol of remembrance and enduring honor.

Volunteers will have two opportunities to participate:

  • Sunday, May 25th at 5:00 pm

  • Donations are needed to help cover the cost of shipping the boots to families across the country

We will have packing boxes on hand, but if you  are able to bring packing tape and Sharpies, those items would be greatly appreciated to help the process run smoothly.

Visitor passes are available online or at the Visitor Center at Gate 7:

This project is a powerful opportunity to reflect, connect, and serve, ensuring that every step taken in memory is returned with purpose and gratitude.

This project will honor the life and legacy of Sgt 1st Class Ofren Arrechaga, USA.
