Top Character Strengths

LOVE - GRATITUDE - PERSPECTIVE - HONESTY - KINDNESS

Personality Profile

What character strength do you value the most and why?
Spirituality. My faith gives me the capacity to dig deep and find the greater meaning of life and allows me to align myself with a purpose that extends beyond myself.

How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
My top character strengths are essential to the success of TMF. Donors want to invest their resources where they can have purpose, make a difference and feel connected to the mission. Being able to be honest with a donor helps overcome emotional roadblocks and hurdles with their investment and creates a deep and meaningful relationship that shares mutual respect. Gratitude is core to development. When someone makes a gift that is meaningful to them, it is important to recognize what they are contributing to the mission and life overall.

What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
When I became immersed in the military community, I was overwhelmed with the amount of support and camaraderie this diverse group of individuals provide one another. Being able to work with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians lets me live in hope that the world truly is a remarkable place and we really can care for one another, despite our differences.
