What character strength do you value the most and why?
I value humor the most because it helps me make connections and network everywhere I go. I believe making people laugh helps everyone feel more connected and comfortable.
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
Creating an environment with humor and kindness encourages everyone involved to feel comfortable, heard, and appreciated. Pairing this with creativity and curiosity helps the people we work with feel comfortable expressing their ideas to allow for more diverse perspectives and teamwork.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
I was raised by a family of veterans who have empowered me my entire life. They support me in every aspect, including in my own career in the Army National Guard. I believe the best way to honor my family and their service is to give back the same empowerment and support I received from them to the veterans and families of veterans in my own community.
