Assistant General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer, American Academic Health System
John is responsible for system-wide labor and employment legal matters as well as acting as Chief Human Resources Officer. He regularly advises and implements on the full range of human resource topics to include compensation, evaluations and collective bargaining with multiple health care unions. John is a 1981 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a 1991 graduate of Rutgers Law School.
John recently taught a course in collective bargaining and arbitration at Rutgers Law School and Widener University’s School of Business. He is a frequent author and lecturer on several national education programs in the field of labor and employee relations. John has lectured extensively on all facets or private and public sector labor and employment law on behalf of numerous organizations, including the American Arbitration Association, National Academy of Arbitrators, Council on Education, International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Authority, International City/County Management Association, and the National League of Cities.
