What character strength do you value the most and why? 
I value humor the most. It is a way for me to lighten the mood and connect in any social environment. It allows for others to get to know you and become comfortable with their environment. Humor has always been a way for me to keep even the darkest moments, light and hopeful. I think we can all appreciate a good laugh in any situation.

How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF? 
Kindness is the foundation of where I connect with others. At TMF connection is a vital role and to be kind to all that you are in the company of, helps build that trust. Humor is how I am able to lighten the atmosphere and bring others together. Prudence allows me to make careful choices in the work that I do for TMF and the communities we serve. Fairness allows me to treat everyone equally and understand that we come from all walks of life but all have the same mindset of community growth and connection. Forgiveness is a trait that gives me the opportunity to understand why mistakes happen (including one I make myself) and learn from them to better myself and those that I am surrounded by.

What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
Their drive to do better. Being a military spouse, there’s something special about a community who can put their differences aside and work side by side to ensure their community is left better than they found it.
