Personality Profile
What character strength do you value the most and why?
Social intelligence has always allowed me to read tone, energy, and unspoken dynamics, especially in high-pressure or emotionally charged environments. I love having the sense of knowing when someone needs reassurance versus accountability, when to challenge directly, and when to give space. This matters to me because I value people feeling genuinely seen and respected, not treated as a task to be managed or a box to be checked. When people feel understood and seen, they show up more honestly, and that is where trust, growth, and real impact happen.
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
My character strengths work together to support my role at Travis Manion Foundation in a way that is deeply aligned with the mission. Humor helps me build connection and create ease in spaces that can carry real emotional weight, allowing people to engage without their guard up. My appreciation of beauty and excellence drives me to honor service, leadership, and sacrifice with care and intention, and to elevate the best in people and programs. Social intelligence allows me to read the room, navigate sensitive conversations, and build trust with veterans, families, donors, and partners in an authentic way. Kindness guides how I show up consistently and follow through, ensuring people feel valued rather than transactional. Fairness grounds my work in integrity, helping me steward relationships and resources responsibly while upholding the values TMF stands for.

Skills and Expertise
My expertise is strongest in logistics, planning, and execution, particularly in complex, mission-driven environments. I excel at coordinating moving parts, anticipating challenges, and turning strategy into clear, actionable plans that keep people aligned and on track. This allows programs, events, and initiatives to run smoothly while maintaining focus on purpose, timelines, and accountability.
Passions and Interests
I have a deep passion for helping veterans find relief and believe that healing often happens organically in the outdoors. I push myself physically and mentally because I believe the hardest thing we have ever done is not the hardest thing we are capable of doing. I have become a bit of a history nerd and love dragging my husband to historic sites, especially when getting there requires a challenging hike. I am drawn to meaningful, difficult conversations, particularly when they happen on horseback, far from cell service.
Military Connection
I am a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served for ten years as a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps.
