Love of Learning is the character strength I value the most because it fulfills my deep curiosity and desire for personal growth. Learning new things brings me joy and satisfaction, independent of any external rewards. It helps me become more resilient, as I see challenges as opportunities to grow and persist despite difficulties.

My top character strengths—honesty, love of learning, and fairness—support my work at the TMF by fostering trust, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring equitable treatment. Honesty helps me build authentic relationships and make ethical decisions. My love of learning allows me to share valuable knowledge. Fairness ensures inclusive practices and just conflict resolution, aligning with our mission to empower veterans and families of fallen heroes.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
What I enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians is the profound sense of purpose and community it brings. Engaging with veterans and survivors allows me to honor their service and learn from their resilience and leadership and gives a meaningful opportunity to provide support and solidarity. Collaborating with inspired civilians is incredibly rewarding as it fosters a shared commitment to service and community building.
