Personality Profile
What character strength do you value the most and why?
I value spirituality because it keeps me grounded in feeling a sense of deep connection - to others and as part of something bigger than myself
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
People are at the center of my work. My curiosity and love of new ideas help keep evaluation and strategy innovative and approachable. I don’t shy away from tough conversations (but think it’s crucial to pursue them with compassion), and make it a point to celebrate both small and big wins. I focus on building authentic relationships--which helps evaluation insights connect with veterans, survivors, staff, partners, and funders in meaningful ways.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians? I value the mix of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives of these groups because it keeps us out of an echo chamber and group think–and leads to creativity in collaboration, processes, and solutions. This diversity reminds me on a daily basis that lasting change comes when different experiences come together around a shared purpose or vision.
