What character strength do you value the most and why?
I value gratitude the most because I try to live by the saying - entitled to nothing, grateful for everything. Being intentional about having gratitude for even the minor, everyday things in life has truly brought me joy and so much perspective. It makes the hard days better and the little things more beautiful.
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
Honesty is crucial when working with a team and makes me a more effective communicator. Kindness and humor help develop human connection, and being able to connect with people from all different backgrounds is crucial in all areas of work. Additionally, doing all things in love makes me an intentional coworker and contributor to the TMF Mission.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
There is so much I could say on this but to keep it simple, I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve others in my own way. Coming from a military family has inspired me to give back to those who have served our country, their families, and the amazing inspired civilians. Being in this position and getting to both learn and share the stories of so many is a privilege.

I love all things agriculture, going to any and all sporting events, learning fun facts, cheering on my Longhorns (Hook ‘Em!), and getting to travel and experience new people and places.
Military Connection
I come from a very proud military family - My dad was a Cryptologist in the Navy. My grandfather was an Intelligence Officer in the Navy during Vietnam and served on the Midway. My uncle is a retired Naval Flight Officer. My triplet sister is currently an active duty Navy Nurse attached to a Marine Corps Battalion.
