Personality Profile
What character strength do you value the most and why?
I value teamwork because I believe that no single person carries every strength needed to succeed at a high level. When people work together, they bring different skills, perspectives, and experiences that compliment one another.
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
In my work at the Travis Manion Foundation, these top character strengths directly shape how I serve others and lead within the community. Fairness ensures that I treat everyone I encounter with respect and consistency. Teamwork allows me to collaborate effectively to accomplish shared goals that are bigger than any one person. Honesty builds trust in my relationship and ensures transparency in both leadership and service. A love of learning keeps me open to new perspectives and ideas. Forgiveness helps me to navigate challenges, maintain strong relationships, and move forward with a focus on mission. Together these values reinforce a culture of integrity, growth, and service that are essential to making a meaningful impact.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
What I most enjoy about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians is the shared sense of purpose and authenticity they bring. As a veteran myself, I get to see how a community with diverse backgrounds come together around a common mission that benefits society.
