Personality Profile
What character strength do you value the most and why?
Zest.
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
My curiosity drives me to truly understand the unique opportunities in each community and learn from our volunteers while exploring innovative ways to amplify our impact. Appreciation of beauty helps me recognize and celebrate not only the profound moments but also the smaller daily wins. I bring zest to everything I do because I genuinely believe in our mission and want that enthusiasm to be contagious— inspiring volunteers, and creating momentum for the important work ahead.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
What I love most is witnessing the ripple effect of character in action. After 4.5 years volunteering with The Mission Continues and then 6 years on staff, I've seen firsthand how veterans continue their service in new ways, how survivors transform pain into purpose, and how inspired civilians step up when called. There's something incredibly powerful about bringing these communities together—the mutual respect, the shared commitment to something bigger than ourselves, and the genuine connections that form. Every project, every partnership, every conversation reminds me why this work matters. I'm continually inspired by the dedication of those I serve alongside and look forward to continuing that work at TMF.
