What character strength do you value the most and why? 
I value gratitude the most. Practicing gratitude on a daily basis has helped me see the world in a more positive light. Every morning, I try to wake up and write down three things I am grateful for. Despite all of the negativity out there, grounding myself through this gratitude exercise has allowed me to shift my perspective and start my days excited, energized, and hopeful for the future.

How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF? 
Love of learning and curiosity help me to continuously seek out new skills and experiences. Gratitude allows me to share my appreciation to those who support our mission, while also shifting my perspective to see the positive in seemingly challenging situations. Humility allows me to celebrate others and lift up my team when they achieve their goals. Love motivates me to help our community thrive and make all feel welcome and supported during times of struggle.

What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
I have always been in awe of how close knit and supportive the military community is to each other, and it is an incredible feeling to be able to give back to those who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe here at home. I have learned countless valuable lessons from veterans and surviving family members, so being able to listen to them tell their stories is something I enjoy and value the most.
