What character strength do you value the most and why? 
I value kindness the most because I genuinely enjoy helping others. Life can be really difficult, and I think leading with kindness is one of the simplest ways to make a real difference.

How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF? 
My character strengths really shape how I show up in my work at the Travis Manion Foundation. Kindness is the one I rely on most because I genuinely care about supporting others, and I’ve seen how much even small acts of kindness can matter. Perspective helps me understand where people are coming from, especially in busy or challenging moments, while honesty helps me build trust through being open, genuine, and authentic. Social intelligence allows me to be more aware of how others are feeling and respond thoughtfully, and teamwork is what ties it all together since collaboration is such a big part of the work we do at TMF.

What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
What I enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians is the people and the sense of connection that comes with it. Everyone brings different experiences and perspectives, but there’s a shared commitment to service and supporting others that really stands out. I appreciate being able to listen, learn from those experiences, and be part of a community that shows up for one another in meaningful ways.
