Personality Profile
What character strength do you value the most and why?
I truly value all of these character strengths. If I had to choose one, it would be Perspective. I have lived through many different chapters in a relatively short period of time, and each has shaped how I see the world. Those experiences have given me the ability to step back, truly listen to others’ thoughts and ideas—not just what is being said, but how it is being said—and consider situations from multiple angles, which ultimately makes me a more thoughtful and effective leader.
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
My character strengths guide me to approach my role at TMF with empathy, curiosity, and perspective, always in service of veterans, their families, and the children of the fallen. Drawing on my past experience supporting children development through the Character Does Matter program, I strived to listen first, learn continuously, and offer solutions that remove barriers rather than create them.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
What I enjoy most is the authenticity and shared understanding within this community. As someone who has served, I recognize the resilience, honesty, and quiet strength that veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians bring with them. Being able to walk alongside them, support their families, and help honor the fallen in meaningful ways is deeply personal to me, and it continually reinforces why this work matters and reignites the fire within me giving birth to a new sense of passion and purpose.
