Personality Profile
What character strength do you value the most and why?
Bravery is the character strength I value most because it fuels growth, integrity, and meaningful change. It is the decision to move forward despite uncertainty and challenges. Bravery reflects alignment between values and actions – choosing what is right over what is easy and builds trust through consistent, principled behavior. Professionally and personally, it creates space for innovation, empowers us to challenge, and encourages us to elevate others. Bravery shapes us into leaders who step forward with conviction, take responsibility, and help forge a better path for others.
How do your top character strengths support your work at TMF?
My top character strengths - bravery, judgment, fairness, honesty, and love of learning - support my work at TMF by grounding my contributions in integrity and purpose. Bravery allows me to step into challenging situations and advocate for those we serve, while judgment helps me make thoughtful, mission aligned decisions. Fairness ensures I engage others with respect and equity, and honesty builds the trust necessary for meaningful relationships and collaboration. My love of learning keeps me adaptable and continuously improving, enabling me to better understand community needs and contribute to solutions. Together, these strengths position me to lead with character and help advance a culture of service and impact.
What do you enjoy most about working with veterans, survivors, and inspired civilians?
As a veteran, there is an immediate connection rooted in service, sacrifice, and resilience – an understanding that leadership is not just a title, but a responsibility to lift others up. I value being part of a community that transforms adversity into strength and continues to serve long after the uniform comes off. Supporting survivors honors the legacy of those who gave everything, while working alongside inspired civilians reminds me that service is a lifelong ethos, not confined to military experience. Together, we demonstrate what is possible when people unite around character and a deep desire to create a lasting impact.
