Position Summary
The Manager of Data & CRM Administration oversees the daily performance and continuous improvement of TMF’s Salesforce platform. This individual leads CRM enhancement projects, manages stakeholder requests, and ensures reliable data flows between departments.
Balancing hands-on technical ability with project leadership, the Manager coordinates timelines, resources, and communication for CRM initiatives. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable configuring system features, managing user expectations, and driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality technology outcomes.
TMF will accept applications from anywhere in the continental United States, but there is a preference for candidates who live near a TMF office.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
CRM Operations & Support
- Manage day-to-day Salesforce functionality, data integrity, and user support.
- Configure declarative features including Flows, page layouts, fields, validation rules, and reports.
- Monitor performance and proactively resolve user or system issues.
- Maintain high standards for data quality through audits, deduplication, and validation routines.
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Serve as project manager for CRM management—defining scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-departmental requirements gathering and prioritization for CRM enhancements.
- Translate stakeholder needs into functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Manage project documentation, timelines, and communication between technical teams, users, and vendors.
- Support testing, quality assurance, and release management processes.
- Track progress, mitigate risks, and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with departments across TMF to identify opportunities to streamline workflows through CRM capabilities.
- Facilitate meetings and demos to gather feedback and increase system adoption.
- Create user documentation and training materials for new features or processes.
- Act as liaison between end users, the CRM team, and external consultants to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Data Management & Reporting
- Support reporting and analytics needs by building dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with the Research & Evaluation team to ensure CRM data aligns with organizational metrics and impact measurement.
- Ensure data governance policies are applied consistently, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required.
- Military service and or connected to the U.S. military is a plus, but not required.
- 2+ years of Salesforce administration, business analysis, or CRM project management experience.
- Demonstrated success managing technology projects from concept to implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration tools and best practices.
- Highly proficient with other systems like Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, and AirTable.
- Preferred but not required for this role:
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience with data integrations, Tableau, or LMS systems.
- Knowledge of nonprofit operations, program delivery, or fundraising systems.
- Excellent and persuasive communicator with exceptional written, oral, and stakeholder management skills. Strong documentation skills are critical to success in this role!

- Other duties as assigned, including 3-5 trips throughout the year to support TMF programming and events. One of those trips includes attending staff training during the first week of March.
- Must have their own car in working condition and a valid driver’s license. Proof of automobile insurance is required. TMF does reimburse for mileage when a personal vehicle is used for business travel.

The pay for this position is $70k and is based on the candidate’s work experience, skills, and abilities. TMF offers a benefits package, which includes medical and dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and participation in our 401(k) program, to name a few. In addition, we have an attractive PTO policy along with holidays and paid parental leave.
