Position Summary 

The Senior Coordinator of Chapter Operations is responsible for supporting and strengthening the nationwide TMF chapter network. This includes data integrity, stakeholder engagement, development of chapter leaders and streamlining of the Chapter Operations process. This position will support the Senior Manager of Chapter Operations in guiding the strategic direction, operational execution and ongoing development of TMF’s chapter program.

This position collaborates primarily with internal teams at TMF. This senior coordinator is a valuable member of the Chapter Operations Team within the Programs Department.

TMF accepts applications from candidates across the continental United States, with a preference for those located near a TMF office. Please note that TMF will be closed for the week of June 29 - July 3 in observance of the 4th of July. Duties and Responsibilities 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Chapters Operations & Data Management

  • Serve as the primary steward of TMF chapter data. Ensuring accuracy, consistency and integrity across all chapter-related systems and records.
  • Manage & maintain databases related to chapter leaders, chapter engagement, chapter status and operational reporting.
  • Track chapter activity, participation and engagement metrics to support organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits and updates to ensure all chapter information remains current and compliant with TMF standards.
  • Generate reports and insights to help evaluate chapter growth and engagement.
  • Responsible for coordinating and collaborating with the Regional Operations team for chapter-related strategy.
  • Cross-team collaboration to support TMF’s national service campaigns.

Chapter Leader Onboarding

  • Lead & manage the onboarding process for all new chapters and aspects of the onboarding process for chapter-related Volunteer Leader positions, ensuring a welcoming, organized and mission-aligned experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding materials, training resources, operational setup and processes for newly approved chapters.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure new chapters (and chapter leaders) are fully integrated into TMF systems, communications and support platforms.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and provide guidance to help new leaders establish a strong operational foundation.
  • Facilitate warm hand off of newly trained chapter leaders to internal account manager.
  • Will provide continued support to the Regional Operations team for confident and empowered volunteer management.

Chapter Leader Development

  • Moderate & manage chapter leader social channels and digital communication platforms to foster collaboration, connection and positive community culture.
  • Support ongoing communication with chapter leaders by sharing resources, updates, best practices and organizational priorities.
  • Encourage meaningful peer-to-peer engagement and work to strengthen relationships across the chapter network.
  • Explore, develop and promote opportunities for local, peer-to-peer and national chapter leader recognition.
  • Identify & communicate chapter achievements, leadership milestones and impactful community contributions.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or previous military service) is preferred.
  • Prior experience in volunteer management, program management, human services, social work, or a related field.
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite, familiar with Salesforce (or similar databases) and systems for managing program-related data. Prior experience managing databases, spreadsheets, and/or operational tracking systems is required.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy; must be self-reliant and initiative-driven, while still being an effective and collaborative team member. This senior coordinator will need to build relationships with different teams at TMF.
  • Remains focused and efficient in the face of pressure, delivers results with timelines; not intimidated by complex tasks, challenging timelines, or a fast-paced work environment.
  • Energetic, flexible, and proactive with dedication to the mission of Travis Manion Foundation and a passion for service and community development. A passion for volunteer development, community engagement, and mission-driven work is critical for success in this role!
  • Must have their own car in working condition and a valid driver’s license. Proof of automobile insurance is required. TMF does reimburse for mileage when a personal vehicle is used for business travel.
  • Military service and/or connected to the U.S. military is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

The pay for this position is $60k and is based on the candidate’s work experience, skills, and abilities. TMF offers a benefits package, which includes medical and dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and participation in our 401(k) program, to name a few. In addition, we have an attractive PTO policy along with holidays and paid parental leave.
