Please join TMF and volunteers for an Operation Legacy project! Collection of Frozen Turkeys and preparation of Thanksgiving Baskets to needy families in Philadelphia and surrounding areas in honor of fallen heroes.

Description:

In conjunction with the City of Philadelphia Office of Veteran Affairs, the Prophetic Church of Christ, Temple University Veteran Association, St. Joseph's Prep High School and the Garnet Valley High School Football team, we will be collecting supplies towards Thanksgiving baskets for designated needy families in South Philadelphia public schools and frozen turkeys for needy family in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Project Schedule:

11/5 - 11/21: Collecting Frozen Turkeys and packaged food supplies for Thanksgiving baskets. Donations can be scheduled for pick up by contacting Jimmy White.

11/24: Preparation of Thanksgiving Baskets at the Prophetic Church of Christ

11/25: Delivery of Thanksgiving Baskets and Frozen Turkeys to South Philadelphia schools and designated families in Greater Philadelphia area

11/25: Handout Frozen Turkeys to needy families at City Hall with The City of Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Office and Temple University Veteran Association
