TMF is uniting athletes and putting our community members to the ultimate challenge. Join veterans, families of the fallen, and other Spartans from across the country in Arlington, VA, for MCM.

TMF is an official charity partner for 2026. As a testament to the selfless sacrifice of our fallen heroes, Team TMF participates annually in the Marathon. Members come together to complete this test of will, determination, and dedication.

Honoring Legacies & Uniting Families

Just before giving the ultimate sacrifice in April 2007, 1stLt Travis Manion, USMC, made plans to run MCM with his father while he was still on deployment in Iraq. When he did not return from that deployment, Travis’ family and friends fulfilled that commitment and ran the event that year. Since that first race, TMF has participated annually to honor not only Travis but all of our fallen heroes. To further honor their legacies, all members of Team TMF fundraise as they train for their event. Funds raised support TMF’s mission of empowering veterans and families of the fallen to develop character in future generations.
