Join local volunteers and Veteran Mentors as they connect with youth for Back to School Character Days. These annual service events take place across the country, allowing thousands of youth in under-resourced communities to connect with Veteran Mentors for a day of character education. Backpacks full of supplies will be delivered to students on-site, ensuring they have all the resources they need to start a successful school year.
Volunteers may organize and sort supplies, assemble backpacks to distribute to students, set up for Back to School Character Days events, assist with refreshments, and tear down after the event concludes.

GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE-CHANGING CONNECTION
This holiday season, veterans and families of the fallen are especially vulnerable to feelings of isolation and emptiness. You can ensure TMF programs continue to connect these two groups, helping them form life-changing bonds that ease their grief and allow them to thrive.
