2026 Earth Month: Earth Day at Crandon Park Beach

Serve shoulder-to-shoulder with volunteers from The Mission Continues, which recently joined forces with Travis Manion Foundation. Earth Month projects will focus on meaningful projects that showcase community, sustainability, and shared purpose.

Join Travis Manion Foundation’s Miami Service Platoon and Miami-Dade Parks at Crandon Park Beach as we come together to commemorate Earth Day through a meaningful day of service.

Volunteers will work alongside park staff to help protect and preserve the park’s vital coastal sand dune habitats by restoring dunes, removing invasive species, and planting native vegetation essential to the health of our shoreline. Our Earth Day signature service project highlights the importance of conserving natural coastal resources while offering fun, family-friendly conservation activities.

By participating, you will play an active role in safeguarding Miami-Dade County’s unique and fragile ecosystems and making a lasting environmental impact.
