Serve shoulder-to-shoulder with volunteers from The Mission Continues, which recently joined forces with Travis Manion Foundation. Earth Month projects will focus on meaningful projects that showcase community, sustainability, and shared purpose.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and help bring a school garden back to life! Join the Travis Manion Foundation’s Orange County Platoon for a hands-on day of impact as we build brand-new planter beds and transform Walt Disney Elementary into a vibrant, growing space where students can learn, explore, and connect with nature.
Garden Revitalization in Two Phases
Phase 1 – February (TBD) (Prep & Demo Day!)
With support from JMH Anaheim, Love Anaheim, and the school community, the existing space will be cleared and prepped for something amazing.
Phase 2 – April 18 | Build Day!
TMF volunteers will:
-
Build fresh planter beds
-
Fill them with soil and planting materials
-
Set the stage for a thriving student garden
Behind the scenes magic: Thanks to Vital Roots Foundation, new irrigation and sprinkler upgrades will be installed ahead of time so everything is ready to grow strong!
Who’s Invited?
Veterans, families, community members, and corporate volunteer teams — everyone’s welcome! No experience needed, just a heart for service and a willingness to get a little dirty for a great cause.
