2026 Earth Month: Spring Renewal at Veterans Village

Serve alongside volunteers for Earth Month Service Projects, one of six national service initiatives carried out by TMF veterans, families of the fallen, and inspired civilians across the country. These projects will focus on showcasing community, sustainability, and shared purpose, all in the name of a fallen hero.

Join Travis Manion Foundation and local volunteers as we return to Veterans Village for an Operation Legacy service project supporting veterans in our community.

Volunteers will help prepare and set up raised garden beds for new program participants, creating a welcoming space where residents can grow their own plants and connect with others. This project is a great opportunity to work alongside fellow volunteers and program participants while contributing to the beautification and functionality of the property.

Please note that this location has uneven ground and participation is limited to volunteers 18 years and older. Tasks will be available for multiple ability levels.

Together, we’ll help create a space that fosters connection, purpose, and community for the veterans who call Veterans Village home.

This project honors the life and legacy of DC3 Nathan "Nate" B. Bruckenthal, USCG.
