Serve shoulder-to-shoulder with volunteers from The Mission Continues, which recently joined forces with Travis Manion Foundation. Earth Month projects will focus on meaningful projects that showcase community, sustainability, and shared purpose.
Celebrate Earth Month with the Travis Manion Foundation El Paso Service Platoon by supporting local veterans and helping grow something meaningful for the community.
Join us on April 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Magoffin Veteran’s Center (1307 Magoffin Ave., El Paso, TX) for a hands-on service project that will benefit the veterans who call the shelter home.
Volunteers will work together to build and complete raised garden beds and plant a variety of vegetables suited for the El Paso climate. Once established, this garden will help provide fresh, nutritious produce for veterans staying at the shelter.
Beyond providing food, this project will also help create a welcoming outdoor space that promotes wellness, sustainability, and community connection. Together, we’ll build a garden that supports those who have served our country while celebrating the spirit of Earth Month.
Come lend a hand, connect with fellow volunteers, and help us grow something that will make a lasting impact for local veterans.
