Join Travis Manion Foundation and the Annapolis Chapter for a meaningful MLK Day of Service as we come together to show gratitude and appreciation to the first responders who serve the Annapolis community every day.
Volunteers will gather at Naval Bagels in Annapolis at 10:00 a.m. to write thank you cards and help assemble small appreciation bags that include TMF bracelets. At 11:15 a.m., we will form small delivery teams and head out to personally deliver these cards and bags to local first responder organizations throughout the area.
We encourage everyone to arrive early to take part in the card-making portion of the project (and to grab breakfast if you’d like) before helping with organizing and deliveries.
Lets live out the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., "Courage is an inner resolution to go forward despite obstacles," and show our appreciation to those who demonstrate courage in our community every day.
This project will honor the life and legacy of 1st LT Travis Manion, USMC.
