FREDERICKSBURG, VA - FOOD BANK BOX PACKING
Join TMF and local volunteers as we support the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank by boxing food and supplies to be distributed to families in Fredericksburg and surrounding areas.
Space is limited to 15 volunteers. Children ages 10 and up are welcome.
In addition to registering with TMF, each volunteer must register through the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank website: www.fredfood.org. From the main page, scroll down and click on "Become a Volunteer." On the next page, scroll down and click on the orange and white "Volunteer Registrationā€¯ tab.
Anyone ages 17 or under must complete the Youth Consent Form. Alex Carlson, the project leader, will reach out to provide the form.
Schedule:
- 9 to 10 am: Volunteer Orientation (all first-time volunteers must attend)
- 10 to 11:45 am: Box Pack
- 11:4 5am to 12 pm: Event Wrap-Up
What to Bring:
- Personal water bottle
- Closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing
