Join Travis Manion Foundation for a donation ruck or walk benefiting the Garnet Valley Food Pantry. "Rucking" is a military-inspired term for walking with a weighted backpack.
We'll start at the Rachel Kohl Community Library parking lot, load our backpacks with donations, and walk to the Concord Township Hero Memorial. From there, we'll take a short 1-mile loop around Concord Township Park before stocking the shelves of the Garnet Valley Food Pantry.
This event is open to all ages and fitness levels! If you're unable to ruck or walk, you can still participate by dropping off food donations at our collection point.
Items needed include:
Canned meat/tuna
Hearty soups
Peanut butter & jelly
Single-serve kids' snacks
Personal care items
Let's come together to support our community!
This project will honor the life and legacy of 1st LT Travis Manion, USMC.

Be Part of the Solution to Veteran Suicide
Since September 11, 2001, more than four times as many service members and veterans have died by suicide than were killed in combat. Today, you can keep the men and women who have worn our country’s uniform from becoming a statistic. Your gift provides a post-service lifeline before they ever reach a crisis point.
When you give during Suicide Prevention Month, you’ll make double the impact thanks to a generous match of $30,000 from TIFF Investment Management.
