
The McMullen Cove community and members of the Travis Manion Foundation invite you to join us in honoring Lt. Michael P. Murphy, an American soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, by participating in his renowned Murph Challenge workout.
The workout consists of:
- 1 mile run (modification = walk)
- 100 pull-ups (modification = presses/rows)
- 200 push-ups (modification = on knees )
- 300 squats (modification = decrease range)
- 1 mile run (modification = walk)
This workout is suitable for ALL fitness levels. While it may seem challenging, you can break it up and work at your own pace.
We will be writing thank-you cards to veterans and delivering them to the Veterans Home in Huntsville, to show our appreciation for their service.
Please bring an exercise mat, weights (if you prefer alternatives for pull-ups), and a positive mindset. We'll provide water, Gatorade, snacks, chalk, music, and plenty of encouragement!
