Join Travis Manion Foundation and The Mission Continues for a meaningful day of service as we work together to revitalize the media center at Alden Road Exceptional Center.
This project holds special significance as it continues a tradition that began in 2018 in honor of Nate Helmuth, a dedicated community leader who passed away just before the original event. Nate's passion for service and uplifting others inspired the completion of a project that transformed a community space, even amidst the grief of his loss. This year, we carry that same spirit forward to honor both Nate's legacy and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's message of service and unity.
Volunteers will help move the media center to its new location, paint the space, assemble furniture, and secure it to the walls for safety. Additionally, we will tackle landscaping projects to enhance the surrounding area.
All skill levels are welcome—come ready to roll up your sleeves, give back to the community, and honor those who inspire us to lead by example.
This project will honor the life and legacy of SGT Nathaniel "Nate" Helmuth, USA.
